Dr. Roi Daconto is a passionate high school teacher, photographer, and Senior Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University. 

At Adelphi, she teaches a dynamic Social Justice and Art class, where she blends creativity with critical thinking to explore important social issues through the lens of art. This course empowers students to use their artistic voice to engage with and address pressing societal challenges, encouraging a deeper understanding of the intersection between art, activism, and social change.

With a deep commitment to fostering creativity and inspiring the next generation, Roi brings her diverse expertise and experiences into everything she does.
